What a score measures

Competition
How crowded the category is with other UK sellers. More competition means thinner margins and slower sales.

Sourcing difficulty
How hard the stock is to find at a price that works — car boots, charity shops, wholesale or online.
The three combine into one score out of 10. When a category is saturated or margins are thinning, the score is meant to say so — not flatter it.
